BIO
Rob has been practicing general civil litigation, insurance defense, construction litigation, environmental and natural resources litigation, and appellate advocacy in Montana since 1993. Immediately before joining JMG in 2021, Rob served four years as Montana Deputy Attorney General, representing the State in constitutional law matters and complex environmental cases before the Montana Supreme Court and in federal courts.
Rob received his B.S.Ed. from Ohio University in 1980. After teaching and coaching in public schools in Ohio and Montana, Rob attended law school at the University of Montana, graduating in 1993. He is admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the District of Montana, all State of Montana courts, and the U.S. Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
