Mike brings a pragmatic approach to litigation. He helps his clients effectively and economically manage risk and uncertainty. He also has extensive public sector experience, having worked as an Army Judge Advocate. He is involved in charitable organizations, particularly those supporting military personnel and conservation issues. Mike adheres to a strict outdoor activity regimen to keep his mind limber and keeps a copy of Marcus Aurelius' Meditations on his desk for regular reference.
Mike is licensed to practice law in the State of Montana (2008) and District of Columbia (2009). He is admitted to practice by the United States Supreme Court (2013), the Court of Federal Claims (2009), the Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces (2008), and the United States District Court for the District of Montana (2008).
